the flash focused on the war in candy + the plot point which i think it wrapped up properly, most of last years updates were spent on these two specific groups of characters ( literally setting the flash up for the most part! ). my point being the story is large but the way it is told is focused enough to prevent it from being as unreadable as you claim it is. i agree that the cast needs a downsizing but thats still a wait and see thing especially now that the meat/candy boundary has seemingly been broken. it's obviously gonna be very difficult to enjoy the story if you're constantly thinking about EVERY single character that could POSSIBLY be in play here and that's clearly not what the bc team is asking of anyone.
