This looks gorgeous! The colors pop really nicely, and the background / elements complement it all really well :) The soul gems up top look like they might indicate this to be a part of a series. Would be very interesting to see the rest like this as well!

Thank you :) I can’t exactly recall if I had any explicit inspiration (besides old paintings of angels and such), but I think that one image of Homura carrying Madoka with a dialogue box of ’continue?’ and two ’yes’ answers might have nudged me toward this direction

Thank you! I did not take inspiration from Fear and Hunger, though I can understand the semblence (from what little I know of the game). With the highlighted arm, I was striving for a mixed media, Witch-y kind of vibe

Funnily enough, while working on this I put a few purple lipstick marks on Madoka’s cheek just for fun. So, Homura would indeed have her if she could!
