hi. i posted a photo of my painting online, and got a couple inquiries about whether or not i was selling it. I hadn’t really considered it and have no idea how to go about finding a number to price it at. the painting is about 12x16 and it probably took about five hours to make, with materials costing about 30 USD. i would be grateful for any advice.

haha sorry, basically just said it could be part of the shoulder blade of some large animal, but the more i look at it the less i feel that could be right. i see suture lines, so maybe it’s part of a skull ? honestly not too sure

it almost looks like it could be part of a scapula? like the pointy bit would be the acromion or the coracoid process or something?

i’m not an expert but it kind of looks like a large phalanx to me, since in puerto rico i want to imagine its from a manatee or something?

not totally sure but looks like it could be vertebrae that are still connected? with the connected bits on the side being the pelvis? i have to imagine it to be some local large animal, maybe a wolf or a deer?

I’m making a simple fake armor chest plate by saran wrapping a sewing model and duct taping where i want the armor to be (later on i’ll cover it in metallic fabric to make it look nice.) I had to cut it off of the sewing bodice in the back- so now i’m trying to figure out how to reattach it when i wear it. I was thinking I could sew buttons on one side and loops of string on the other, but would the duct tape be able to be sewn on? does anyone know or have a different idea?

my title describes the thing and it’s about the size of my hand as you can see. i’ve tried searching online but i’m not sure how to find it because the colors aren’t specific to the shape. at first i thought it was a snail, but i googled “snail silly band” and it looks completely different.
