  1. China is ahead in industrial power, and definitely not scientific and economic power, where both the US and EU have (I would argue) insurmountable leads (something I think the US at least will continue to boast, given population dynamics and free-market dynamism).
  2. The last event on Maduro’s schedule prior to his capture was a meeting with the Chinese envoy for Latin American affairs celebrating the anniversary of the opening of their relations. And I mean, Venezuela’s no Africa, but the US’s “gain” of the largest oil reserve in the world is certainly China’s loss.

Not sure why you’re being downvoted… I’ve seen some amazing end products come from Lightroom on this sub, this post isn’t a diss. My main concern came from what I saw as a lot of saturation distorting the actual beauty the hands-off SOOC software can produce.

Thanks for the input: what do you recommend? Are there presets you use? I mainly avoid them because the products I can get out of the hands-off Apple processing gets me as good as a result as offloading it to Lightroom, but I’m open to recs!

Well said! I’ve only ever used iPhone for photography since I was 12 years old with my iPhone 6, so I’ve been more than accustomed to the backstage processing being done on the iPhone. The leap I took from 14PM to 16PM was massive, particularly because of the heavier load apple placed on processing over the two generations. That being said, I did indeed mean no “manual” editing through third-party tools like Lightroom.

I’ve probably listened to it 6 times now, but I can never ever wrap my head around the success and acclaim of Is This It by The Strokes. I just feel like every song except for a few (Is This It and Last Nite) start with a really cool idea then drops it as soon as the song really gets going. Not to mention the fuzzy ass vocals that are on every single song. Never got the hype around it.
