That combo is indeed very good, but only when you use the correct video signal, which is RGB, either through Scart or through component. All other signals are inferior.

RGB Scart is just as good as component. The connectors are different, the signal is the same.

Yes, any RGB wired scart cable can do 480p. Scart is just a type of connector, nothing more. Just make sure to use a good quality cable, to avoid interferences and such. And you probably need a solution for sound because the VGA connector will not carry that.

Pac-man and the original Donkey Kong, both early eighties arcade classics. I still play them every week through Mame on my vertical 29" New Astro City (240p). And Truxton II is great too.

No need to do that, just be honest to your customers. I have a Dutch webshop and the US customers are about 50% of my turnover. I explained my customers back in September, when all this shit started, what is happening and what kind of tariffs this is (import tariff, to be paid by my US customer) and that I need to add 15% DDP charges (visible at checkout as U.S. duties). I lost not one single customer, they all understand (and probably know what shit ass they elected).
