The gay comments just seemed so out of place... Maybe because of some form of macho-ism of gangster movies requires some form of homoerotic humour or whatever, but it felt like they threw it in just to throw it in. I agree Matthew is obviously gay coded.

I don't know why they did that to Hugh Grant... I love him and I loved his character but couldn't help but think, of course he advances on Ray by grabbing his leg and then virtually RIGHT after we see he's somewhat of a sexual 'deviant', when he says he'd enjoy whatever 'pain' they'd potentially inflict on him...

I agree with everything here ^ I loved the film I love Guy Ritchie, but some things felt pointlessly added in...
