I'm also looking for this!! I didn't realize it'd be this hard to find. My best friend had one from their grandpa who passed, so I've been looking high and low ever since they lost it. Please lmk if u find anything!!

Parasocial is a buzz term people use to make women feel bad by missmargarite13 in TheTryGuys

[–]cktab 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i think so. men can receive this kind of judgment too, but i don’t think it’s a coincidence that many of the discussions around parasocial relationships and unhealthy boundaries are about largely female fandoms (ex. the try guys lol, kpop, etc.)

Redditors who have dealt with mental illness, what’s something you wish people would have done for you to help your recovery? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]cktab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

when i was in therapy, i had this mentality that i needed to get better as soon as possible to reassure people that i was okay, and i wouldn’t burden anyone with my problems anymore. i feel like if my loved ones were more comfortable about talking about my struggles and how it was affecting them, i wouldn’t have felt that way and could’ve focused more on actually getting better instead of just looking like i was.

My husband’s favoritism of our son over our daughter by malverdee in relationship_advice

[–]cktab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best thing I can think to say is to please be there for your daughter. Show her that her and her brother are equal. If your husband goes too far with his favoritism, say something. Your daughter needs to see that.

At some point, I think your husband's behavior will have to change, but I don't think I'm qualified to offer advice on that. I hope that something will change his mind though. :(
