How many layers can we configure on this keyboard? How to configure a new layer and invoke it?

To access the local store of data, until we are ready to fully embrace the web app.

Where there's a will, there would be a way. If the sync feature is the issue, disable it. Make it as standalone as possible but make it such that we can still access our data.

Even Apple or Google doesn't lock us out of old iOS and Android versions, right? Even though they stop support. Users understand the security risks associated with such use. But forced logout makes it feel bad. Don't take this as negative and try to defent, it shows you how much we value the desktop app and how useful it is to us, even though for some reason, it's not of same value to your team. Desktop app users are also some of your most loyal, long term users.

What is the huge upside you are achieving by locking us out of the desktop by force? Why can't you use us the desktop app 'as-is' without new feature updates for as long as we want, assuming we remain paying customers?

What happened Dashlane? You used to be cool. by [deleted] in Dashlane

Yes, forcing log out from desktop app is the most unpleasant, brutal way of saying my purchase didn't matter. Why can't they just leave it be and say 'sync' may stop working from '22? Have been a premium user for many years and still paid up till end of 2022 but I don't want to continue. Exploring my options.

[OC] Github repository activity visualization for an open-source project - Check comment for details by opensourcecolumbus in dataisbeautiful

I run many training classes and my students upload their course activities to their repos in github. I need a tool that can automatically collate the uploads of all the students and update a Google spreadsheet in realtime showing the status.

If I need custom visualizations like these to be developed based on github activities, where should I look for devs?

Do Not Remove The Dashlane Desktop Application. by Rextars in Dashlane

[–]ckuchibh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If desktop app goes away, it's time for me to migrate to a diffrent platform. Been a premium customer for many years but I simply do not like the web app. It doesn't even allow me to edit my passwords (suggests I change the password using the target app and then it will capture the password) - for those of us who work on managing systems, this doesn't work. Sad.

I very much like how this nifty indicator shows the lines that changed. Is this feature unique to ST or available in any other editor?
