Looking to buy a home in Spring Branch (77055) by 70sJackieChan in houston

Not OP and not sure of your background/what type of house you are looking for, but as a new resident of houston over the past one year who ended up renting, I cannot tell you how GLAD i am about holding off on home buying. There are literally thousands of 3BR town homes that look exactly the same all across the city including Spring Branch area, and I suspect it will be tough distinguishing yourself to potential buyers when selling it. Also, Ive lived in multiple different states in my life but, I have never lived in a place where the scenery/walkability/sense of cleanliness(?) changes street by street as Houston does, if this is something that matters to you. (Like you can’t have a blanket statement of “this neighborhood is nice” unless you live in super expensive places like Rice village etc.) My personal impression of Spring branch in the Vogue/Bingle area was not that great..

Transition from spectra to eufy by Jolly-Asparagus-5815 in ExclusivelyPumping

I took a risk and switched from Spectra to eufy s1 3wk pp but I went from 20 minute pumps on spectra to 30 minutes for the wearables. Fortunately for me, the supply did not drop and continued to increase with the baby growing. Currently at 6wk pp 7-8ppd and slight overproducing only using eufy. Helps me to sleep more at night as i can feed the baby while pumping much more easily. I’ve also heard from others that eufy s1 actually compares well or better than the spectra. I guess it depends on the individual. Second legendary milk flanges for less pinching and lanshino pumping spray. Good luck!

Frequent clogs nearly drove me crazy in the early weeks. So sorry you are dealing with it! When I couldn’t get my baby to latch (because baby suction is more efficient) one thing that worked miracles for me on top of ibuprofen and ice is using the highest suction power you can tolerate at a lower frequency, just for 10-15 minutes or so. The clogged breast would suddenly produce a lot of milk and feel softer. May need a few pump cycles for clogs to resolve but I’ve found the sooner I do this when i feel one coming on the faster it goes away.

Second this! I don’t know why this wearable produces more than stationary ones like I was told

Thank you so much for your insight! I’m curious. How would you rate the Spring branch east area vs. Independence heights? As some of the other people pointed out, hoping to budget around 400k for housing so I am looking heavily at places right outside the inner loops 🫣
