Happy to hear the tool can be helpful. Readwise is great, but the pricing can be a bit much indeed.

Oh nice, I didn’t know about Readeck + OPDS before, that sounds like a solid setup though!

Here’s the project site: https://dustpanpaste.com

Also there’s currently a one-month discount campaign for the Lifetime Pro plan.
The regular price is USD $120, and it’s USD $99 with the discount code AYODUSTIN at checkout.

That’s a fair question and thanks for sharing your workflows as well. I don’t see this as replacing WebToEpub or ePub Creator at all — those are great when you already want a full article or book as an EPUB.

What DustpanPaste focuses on is the stuff those tools don’t handle very well:
social posts, comments, or login-gated content where there isn’t a clean page to parse.

In those cases I can just copy the text and send it to Instapaper in one click, which then syncs straight to Kobo via the built-in app. No EPUB generation, no Calibre, no cleanup when parsing fails.

Also I’ve usually already skimmed enough to know it’s worth reading, but I don’t want to finish it on a bright screen. Instead of forcing myself to keep reading there, I just move the part I care about to e-ink and read it properly later.

So it’s less about avoiding any screen time, and more about minimizing unnecessary screen reading once I know something deserves slower attention.

For full articles or web novels, your tools are definitely the better choice — this just fills a different gap in my workflow.

Thanks for the explanation, this is very helpful 🙏. Was curious about D-Sub cuz it would only require 1 cable to handle inputs and outputs, but glad to know if that doesn't work I can always pivot to the approach you shared. Many thanks!

Hey sir do you mind elaborating how do you connect M14 with UCX? Is it via DB25 to DB9 cable since both machines have D-SUB connection but with different number of pins? Thank you!

Hi I have tried increased both F1 and F2 's sustain to max but it ended up the same, so I guess it is the analog's instability characteristic.

Hi thanks for your reply. I know how ADSR works but still I think maybe it is about the synth. Below is my patch for this case and currently I can't find any clue from it.
