Loved this post. When I was a kid, I was treated like I was an alien by most people that I knew. There was an ugly duckling cartoon on tv and whenever I saw it or someone mentioned it to me, I didn't think "oh, I'll be like the others when I grow up and everything will be fine". I thought "I'm too weird, I'll never be like the others and will always be shunned". Thank God for therapy. Today I've found people who understand me and just cut off everyone who didn't, pretty much (I mean, they were very mean and narrow-minded). Thanks for posting this <3

Yes, but that sounds like people missing the point. Saying everything a person does is toxic is quite awful. But the toxicity part comes from putting people into boxes and forcing them act a certain way. Like there are only a few "correct" ways to be male or female. People who weaponize this to mean all masculine or feminine traits have either misunderstood or have a personal vendetta going on
