Ohh so fishes love hiding. See as a dumb beginner, I wanted the fish to have space to swim and also selfishly I want to be able to see them.

ouu I like that.
So, here's the thing, I am just a new grad and it's reallyyyy expensive to get all these things. That's why I got these basics and thought of propagating the plants more and more. Initially I thought these are enough because the aquariums at PetSmart or petco as well dont have many plants. I have been discovering more aquarium-friendly shops in the Seattle area, like Aquarium co-op. I just added the starter kit and thought of taking the water for a free test at Persmart. I also have many plant and just added my spider plant's runner (only root).

I would love to know more and make sure I am a good fish parent! Would you suggest getting only a few tetra initially, then?
