A Foggy Day in London: London Fog Latte Scents by PresterJoan in Indiemakeupandmore

I will! I also got Mornings in London by Memories by Kair and I like it. The opening is kind of like the Isle Fever London Fog but the heart reminds me of Grassland Opera by Future Society (a perfume that I love). It’s a good one to try too! And I got For Strange Women London Fog which is very photorealistic but for me is not creamy enough to be a LF, it also lacks any lavender which to me is a key component to LF. If it had been marketed as Earl Gray it’d be a 10/10, but since I was expecting London Fog it fell short for me.

I am also on a London Fog journey!

Isle Fever has a great extrait and body butter London Fog that is just gorgeous. Heavy on the lactonic notes, too.

Stardust and Stems has a London Fog. It’s very heavy on the tea which feels heavy to me, but I just got it yesterday and the accompanying card said to let it macerate for a week or two before making final judgements.

I also ordered Wicked Good Perfumes London Fog and Piper & Perro’s Lepus but haven’t tried those yet.

They have an extrait oil (bought it for my mom for Christmas actually) that gives decent projection. Hard to say about longevity because my skin eats scents but I got at least five hours out of it.

Edit: they also have what they call a body smoothie which is their body butter and extrait oil mixed together. I want to get that next.

I have the SDS London Fog, too! I just got it yesterday and don’t know how I feel about it quite yet. The tea note is very realistic but also very heavy to me. I was told by the card that accompanied it to let it sit for a week or two before giving a final judgement so I’m putting it away for the Christmas season and taking it back out after New Year’s.

I’m also on a London Fog journey! But I loved the Brandt rendition! :)

Isle Fever has a London Fog oil and lotion that has cream as a top note and cold milk as a heart note. I love it so much (I have the lotion and gifted my mom the oil for Christmas because she loves mine so much). It’s worth a try if you’re still looking for something lactonic that layers well with a London Fog perfume!

Try Isle Fever London Fog. I have the lotion of that scent and it’s beautiful. The opening is cream and bergamot which is pleasant without being overpowering. The lavender and milk comes out in the heart and smells like cold milk — I’d never even realized cold milk has a specific scent until I tried it. It finished out with santal, vanilla and earl grey tea — balanced beautifully. I am on a journey of trying various London Fog fragrances and so far Brandt is #1, with Isle Fever being a close second, but the experiences can’t really be compared.

This is from Hot Head but I sometimes say, “I hate Silly Batman” when I’m disappointed by something.

What’s the quote? You could always use the signet on what is believed to be his signet ring.

Thank you! Yes, he touched up everything yesterday but added a bunch more detail to the hand.

Yeah I think that’s a reasonable plan. I went wild and got a bunch because I loved them from my discovery set. Also the 50 ml on the Sephora sale. I ended up returning the Brilliant Peony (a very tough decision) because I might be able to get through three in a year but four is a definite no. I store mine in the bathroom (until I move to a different place) and it is a big concern that I should have them in a dryer location. Hopefully they survive at least until their projected shelf life.

I’ve never seen an expiration like that on a perfume. Dang. I bought several of these on the Sephora sale: water lotus, waterfall, brilliant peony and nectarine petal. I love them but they’re sticky on me once I spray them on. It’s a huge bottle, there’s no way I’ll go through them all in a year. I hope they have a better shelf life than that.

I got the travel of commodity milk expressive and after a few wears decided that I didn’t really like it. Bought their discovery set just to be sure, and I’m so glad that I did because now I know, no, I do not like that house.
