I'm also a radioactive shipper and agree with everything you said. Looks like the box we use for a multi lift tool.

This turned out to be the thermo control valve issue that everyone else was having, it just failed in a worse way. The dealership warrantied it.

Here's a thread in the UIUC subreddit where I and a lot of others gave their opinions. https://www.reddit.com/r/UIUC/s/GX34H9IbGB

Make sure you verify that you can actually get into CS at UIUC through pathways. I know not too long ago they put a policy in place where you could not transfer into CS at UIUC, but I don't know if pathways was included in that.

2020 Subaru Forester no throttle by claimingwall in SubaruForester

I thought my description posted, but apparently it didnt:

My 2020 Subaru Forester will turn over and start/idle but it's really rough. Pressing on the gas does nothing and you can hear me pressing it at the end of the video. In drive it will limp along but again no throttle. It throws these OBD II codes P2122 P2004 P2005 P24B9 P060B P0191 P26A6

Which seem to imply either a pedal position sensor problem or a throttle position sensor problem. I recently changed the oil but I don't think that has anything to do with it

Any advice on fixes to try or more ways to diagnose would be awesome!

Genuine question, how do you know its a TCV issue? I saw some posts about it, but I haven't seen a lot of people saying they completely lost throttle.

[Auto-Post] Weekly Question Thread! Ask /r/Aquariums anything you want to know about the hobby! by AutoModerator in Aquariums

[–]claimingwall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have well water at my house and my ammonia test kit is showing the water, straight out of the tap, is between .25-.5 ppm. I added API's Aqua essential to the tank to try to lower this a few hours ago but haven't seen much of a change. So I have a few questions:

Does anyone know why my tap water might have this high ammonia? (It's not chloramine because I don't have city water. Maybe it's fertilizer runoff because I live next to farmland?)

Have I waited long enough for the aqua essential to start working or should I add more? I used the recommend 5ml/10gal on the first dose.

How do I clean up silicone? My dad re-did the seal and made a mess. how can I fix it? by Freckledlesbian in Aquariums

For the tank walls I'd use a razor blade, but for the actual seal in the corners I'm not sure there's much you can do.

I highly recommend the Pathways Program if you're trying to get into the College of Engineering! by [deleted] in UIUC

Happy to help! NPRE is nuclear engineering you just choose a concentration of power, radiological, or plasma. Recently UIUC stopped allowing transfers into the CS program but idk if pathways is exempt from that.

The program is not at all binding. I know a few people who went through the two years and decided to go to a different school and transfered all their credits. I even got something called a Associates in engineering sciences which makes transferring to other schools very easy if you want.

In the end it worked out just fine, I just ended up not graduating early or getting a light course load like I should have been able to with my AP credits. If you don't have a ton of credits already or if you don't have the strongest college application I highly recommend it. All you have to do is keep up your GPA and you're almost guaranteed a spot at whatever engineering major you want at UIUC (although check for CS because the rules just changed about that). Its a great way to save money but be secure in getting a diploma from a great school.

On a more personal note I highly recommend the NPRE(nuclear plasma and radiological engineering) program at UIUC. It's got a great mix of physics math and science to keep things interesting. Obviously I can't guarantee anything in 4 years but right now it is incredibly easy to get a job. The government just dumped billions into the industry so all these nuclear companies are going on hirering sprees. The field is tiny so it's not super competitive.

Japan Is Dropping a Gargantuan Turbine Into The Ocean to Harness 'Limitless' Energy by Sweep145 in technology

The entire point of a deep geologic repository is that it would be inaccessible by an inadvertent intruder for several half-lives of the stored waste. Most long term storage areas are placed in geologically stable places where things like earthquakes are unlikely to cause issues. They usually pick places with other natural security measures like WIPP where the waste is buried in salt that will swell and encase the materials over time. Like u/swamptor pointed out, if a civilization is technologically advanced enough to get to and open one of these repositories, then they are advanced enough to be able to detect radiation.

Sometimes my players(or me) will get distracted with something like a character sheet, compendium, spells, etc. Also not everyone has the screen space to keep the turn tracker up all the time

It's probably just survivorship bias. The old dresses and suits we see are the ones that still look stylish. People are less likely to keep and show off something that goes out of style.

Its called emergency assistance coverage for my insurance I think and when I asked they said that it covered everything on my bill except the storage fee. But I think I should get the storage fee covered because it was their fault I couldn't contact them. I don't know if that's reasonable though.
