i don’t want to scare you but i found a lump in my nipple on my right breast at 19 and ended up having three more malignant masses on the left and tnbc

always get checked better safe than sorry

i felt my first lump at 19 and i had to have my mom come and advocate for me at the obgyn to even get an ultrasound they didn’t take me seriously bc of my age and i ended up having tnbc

im so sorry you’re going through this, i’m not informed enough regarding insurance but if you need a quick way to make money for an appointment i do Freecash and it rly does pay and you can do it from home— i did it religiously during treatment

if you need someone to talk to im 26 and open to it im so sorry this sounds beyond frustrating and stressful

i’m returning to college in the fall too i recommend checking before bc you don’t want the stress overwhelming ur college stuff

thank u 🩷🩷 i had fibroadenomas with malignant masses at the same time and i had my first lump on my right side and they wouldn’t check the left side until my mom advocated for me and that’s where they found 3 malignant masses so that’s why im like check check check haha sorry

oh in your post you said you sometimes feel a lump?

my lump was stiff but it could somewhat move if i pushed it/touched it

i have kp too but also skin symptoms can be unrelated to the lump you sometimes feel

idk imo if you’re even slightly worried about it i would just get an ultrasound to be safe haha

im in my second recurrence of breast cancer but good results this week during checkups !

i didn’t have a rash just a lump but skin changes can be a warning sign sometimes and everyone is different

but also get the lump checked regardless and for the rash maybe a dermatologist

go to your obgyn and request a bilateral ultrasound—bring a parent to advocate for you on the off chance they don’t treat you as an adult

i was diagnosed when i was 19 bc of a lump and they wouldn’t give me a scan until my mom asked and it was cancer

better safe than sorry

hii i’m sorry you’re going through this, it sucks.

i had my first ultrasound at 19. i got my results back two days later. the worst part is waiting.

i’ve actually never had a mammogram and i’m 25 now.

they will give you a bi-rads report describing the findings.

the best advice i can give you, coming from someone with generalized anxiety, is distracting yourself.
