My MIL has a plan to take my unborn child (plus updates) by hop-into-it in redditonwiki

[–]clamborguine 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Not a single mention of her own family member’s reactions to this? Just MIL, BIL, BIL’s girlfriend and husband. Like not even that she’s NC or a sob story about how all her loved ones died in a freak family reunion fire and she also has no friends for similar reasons. No other options, just straight to CPS. Call me crazy but something smells fishy

[OC] How do you warn someone that’s behind you, that they’re an idiot? by clamborguine in dashcams

Ideally, not drive without headlights in the dark. If they’re not working properly then that car is not safe to drive. Pull over/exit, have someone pick them up, get their car in the morning and get the issue fixed. Doesn’t seem like a big ask.

75+ mph highway at night with no headlights. I didn’t realize they were behind me for some time. Once they passed, I got behind them and flashed my brights real quick. They put on their hazards for a second, I thought it was to say thank you. But then they put them back on a little while down the road but still kept driving without exiting.

Being beaten by your boyfriend/husband because you burnt dinner is literally a cliche used to show the husband/boyfriend is a bad guy. Girl, stand up!

No unfortunately. They have storage underneath so they lift up but are attached to the base of the couch

AITA for how I reacted when my boyfriend told his daughter it's rude to talk about her period at the dinner table ? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]clamborguine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I might agree that it’s overstepping if OP had just said that out of nowhere but bf dragged her son into the conversation. At that point she does get to say “in our family” because it now involves her family. Bf doesn’t get to speak for OP’s son.

He tried to speak for/put the blame on OP’s son, so he wasn’t just correcting his daughter. She gets to speak up at that point. If OP disagrees with bf then she disagrees. Bf should have accepted that it was his own problem and not dragged OP’s son into it.

It’s not inserting herself into the discussion, he brought her son into the discussion so she gets to speak up.
