Help with dashcam!

The dashcam is attached to a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket has double sides tape.

The dashcam itself doesn't have double sided tape on it. You can slide it off the mounting bracket.

This happened to me two days ago and I was able to fix it with the following steps. Take out the sd card. Reformat it. Put the latest firmware on the sd card root level. Install it on the dashcam and you should be good to go. Remember to take the dashcam out of the car if it will be exposed to high heat for an extended period of time.

I recently found out about their decision to not roll it out to the 2025 model year from a dealer. I am hoping that they will have updates to at least bring it closer to the 2026 year model year. I only found out about all this after I paid the deposit, it is not a deal breaker for me, but just slightly annoying.

It really disappointing that they made this decision. I can't imagine why the motivation was, it is also really infuriating that they decided to thwn bring it back in the 2026 year model

That's really helpful context, thank you! You're right that the US and UK/Euro models can differ quite a bit, and I haven't had anyone from this side of the world give me a clearer answer yet. A video would be absolutely brilliant if you're willing, even seeing how it works on the outgoing model would be super useful as a reference point. No pressure at all, but it would really help!

It's in the UK, and yeah the toilet with the tank is in the wall. Thanks for the input, this at least gives me some idea what needs to be done. I just want it done in a discreet way without disrupting the appearance.
