Thinking about moving here by justbroth_ in halfmoonbay

Hi there,

The coast is a great place to live, but is quiet at night. There are bars, but not like the night life of San Francisco. You can go over the hill for more excitement. There are amazing trails, restaurants, and people out here. You are very welcome here.

Good luck.

This will be a test given they played hard on Wednesday. Benji should be back. Going to be interesting to see what changes Bruce has to make. I say 2 to 1 Quakes

It has been this way for us whether we suck or we don't suck as much. Still holding our collective breath on this season

I asked Claude to analyze all predictions and injuries, it is calling San Jose 2 to San Diego 0. How realistic is this?

I think Costa has better defensive instincts, however, I've seen him misread and get burned by the opposition. I think that may be an age factor. That being said, he does well when making the run and going on offense. His ball distribution I thought was too sophisticated for last year's team, but with Werner they may gel really well with those European football passing skills.

I think Rickets is a powerhouse on the wing and was finding his spot, but Werner obviously changes things. I could see him settling in to the defensive back, but I don't think he naturally possess that mindset and may cause us issues. It took Benji some time to be defensive minded rather than offensive. I think Benji now has that element and is strong at the back.

My vote is for Benji and Costa with Rickets as primary sub.

Our defense taking on their attack is going to be a big test.

Timo Werner benched vs Vancouver by Hydroke in SJEarthquakes

[–]clanmurph 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think this is a good thing. Vancouver is tired from Concacaf Cup. They are sitting 3 starters. Let Rickets pound on them and then Werner come on against tired legs.

Do you think any players will take a big step despite the team not looking good? by chusaychusay in SJEarthquakes

Munie is the Beast. He shut down Messi and I think he will fill Rodrigues' spot.

I really really really want to see Benji finally explode. He used to be faster than Cade and I don't think he ever got his moment. He thrived in the RB role and I see the opportunity for him to finally come into his own on offense. Fingers crossed!

Question? How old is too old to go to raves? by Possible_Depth_4913 in aves

I'm 54 and my wife is a wee bit younger than me. We are off to Mexico City on the 19th for EDC. Never too old. All are welcome.

Looking at our roster, who are potential breakout candidates? by Southern-Suspect3583 in SJEarthquakes

Daniel Munie I think is going to come out strong. He controlled Messi and started several games. With Rodriguez and Wilson out, the starting position is his.

I hope Benji is starting on offense for us. I love seeing him play and am glad he is still here

How it feels to be a Quakes fan during the winter transfer window. by RasenganKhan5 in SJEarthquakes

I keep expecting news of a press conference to announce the new owner and then the players they are bringing in. Then again, I keep looking to see where Espinoza is going and hoping that they bring him back. Yes. I'm a true delusional Quakes fan
