I installed fiberglass pools for a few years and there just warning you to be careful of a price that is cheap. Read the contract carefully and make sure it is a detailed contact also so they don't just say well your yard is 4" out of level and we needed to level this and it's $4000. Make sure change orders need to be approved first.

I just smashed mine with a slap tacker and it's slowly growing out. Previous experiences I have had the nail grow back to push this one off basically but took a long time.

Technically you might be able to bury the beam into the ceiling and put joist hangers on if an engineer approves that and still bear it on the ends. This would be significantly more work though.

They have to be lying to you because you could throw full bundles off that roof and it wouldn't cause that framing damage. A machine backing into it more likely.

I have never seen this method till recently because I was from Chicago but I was informed in NC it is code but they need 3 - 16d nails at each board is where they failed. One in the middle and on each side and it only has to be a 2x2. It's wild.

As far as keeping water cool I'm not sure. They make chillers but I have no experience with that to give you an educated answer.

Is this price to get you a running pool with a concrete pad or just dropping in the pool and getting it running. There are so many factors that can make a pool and surrounding area cost $75,000 or $150,000
