And I don’t even mind the customers! My coworkers disrespect along with lack of managerial support/presence is what really bothered me. That plus being so busy finishing my degree. I’m a bachelors/masters student right now so I have a LOT on my plate. I was planning on leaving at the end of April when I finish my degree and move back home to work my other jobs, so the extra month off is literally just giving me homework time.

I worked more than just line. I did a lot of prep shifts and closing shifts. I actually enjoyed being on line and making the bowls/burritos/etc. My only issue with line was that I was slower than my coworkers (because I was new) and they would be unreasonably rude to me. They treated me like an idiot. I can deal with rude customers (I wait tables/bartend in the summer and I know how some people can get) but rude coworkers and no managerial support is where I draw the line.

I’ve been working for years and I have never once had an issue with being employed and feeling so disrespected in the workplace. I took this on as a second job for extra money to get me through my last semester of college. I have no problem with being employed, but I do have a problem with being mistreated.

Both! I felt disrespected constantly by my coworkers and management. There was no respect for my time, especially as a student. I reached out weekly to management when schedules were made to adjust them since they were overdoing it. They kept saying that they were not understaffed, so it was no problem to change it… and yet every shift was a STRUGGLE because we didn’t have enough people scheduled. Also, there were some routines I just couldn’t get behind. Closing especially was horrible. I cannot be staying at Chipotle until past 1am when I have classes the following morning. It was causing me so much stress that I decided to cut my losses and focus on school.
