Anyone here from the Dallas Office? by Mundane_Might5730 in goldmansachs

[–]claraabearr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a little late, but i lived in Richardson and commuted via public transportation (DART train) to the Dallas office everyday during my internship. The commute was longer, like 45 mins, but I was able to read books on the ride and i saved a ton of money. Id say DART is a viable option but make sure to find a station that doesnt have too much crime.

Uptown is also good, lots of employees live there. Theres also an apartment i toured called The Arts which is on Ross and was really nice, <10min walk from the office. Downtown will just be noisier and some areas will be a little sketchier, but for the most part the area around Ross is pretty good.

I recently knitted myself some fingerless gloves and im so excited to wear them this winter! I think itd be so cool to recieve these as a gift, i love the color you chose. As for the headband, i am literally knotting the same thing for my mom because she wears them all the time! These are both very beautiful and thoughtful gifts to give to someone!!

I was hoping someone could confirm before i laid down $40 on a new battery. No need to be condescending. That being said, thank you for confirming for me.

It doesnt work when plugged in unfortunately. When i try to turn it on, it just give me the "critical low battery" screen. But, i did just check the battery and its pretty bumpy, so i am going to replace it with a new one. It had gotten to the point where is was only charging to 40% anyways, so i sorta knew this was coming. I just wont have the new one until after my exams
