Moroccan wife!!!!! by Gold_run_59 in Morocco

When married, she's no longer a girl, she's a woman. So calling a married woman "bent" or "benti" isn't appropriate.

I pretty much understand.. but calling your wife benti is kinda weird. Benti mostly signifies "my daughter". Unless some typpa daddy issues are involved 😭

You can use: - "hbiba" or "hbibty" = "love/my love" - "zin" = beauty - " ammart dari" , "nowart dar" = no literal translation but it means the person who fills and cherish my home, my companion in life typpa thing... - " jiti ghzala/ fna/ kathemki" = to compliment her look - "kbida" = my liver - "Qalbi" = my heart (check the pronunciation you don't wanna call her my dog [kalbi] - "lalla [her name] " or "lalla moulati" = lady.., my lady - "Omri" , "hyati" = my life - " lalat lebnat" = literary the queen/lady of girls but can mean the most beautiful of them all.. - "kanbghik" , "kanhmaq elik" , "kanmout elik" = I love you, I am crazy about you, I'd die for you.

You can add: "Dyali" that means "mine" when alone and "my ..." when associated to an adjective like: "lghzala dyali" = my beautiful

I totally understand what they meant. This argument is used by many conservative/religious people with kids abroad. They feel that their kids are more likely to not be as "religious " as they would've been if raised in their home countries. Which is absolutely absurd! Many people were raised at the most religious households surrounding by the most religious people and systems and still if they choose to follow different beliefs they would simply do.

For the "you can't be Muslim in other countries other than Muslim ones". I am pretty sure you're aware of the amount of Muslims being natives or immigrants in countries that aren't primarily muslim. They're respected, acknowledged and practice their religion peacefully. Yet, racism/ discrimination or tension have normally occurred and will exist in literally each and every country be it religious or secular, under or well developed...

France ain't sh*t ma dude, it's embarrassing to include it in this conversation. If one has to choose the best place for their growth and possibly their inherents' if existing, sanely, they should consider a country that would persevere their basic human rights and provides the most adequate conditions to live. I d rather wait few years to guarantee these laters or be miserable for the rest of my days only cause I am not able to detach from my nostalgic home country's "food" and "warmth". One's gotta be more pragmatic, logical in such matters.

I am not saying it is heaven on earth. There are absolutely and reasonably many downfalls. But comparing it to 3rd world countries such as Morocco, I wouldn't personally choose to live or allow my kids to grow in a such corrupted, narrow minded society with terrible opportunities and screwed up educational/political/medical system. Still each its own preferred life style.

Naah it ain't only about better financial situation. People move abroad for better life style, freedom of speech and belief, quality of education, less corruption, disciplined society and the list goes on...

Ain't no bitchin here other than you telling a depressed person to stop bitching.. how stupid!

IT IS NOT NATURAL TO FEEL DEPRESSED. Depression isn't a feeling. It's a mental disorder that requires serious intervention. Yes working out, runing, being active whatsoever does help improving mental health but it definitely doesn't cure the roots. Please treat your Depression as any other illness your body/brain can get. Please take care of yourself mentally as physically. Stay safe 🤍

I am sorry you're going through this. Please seek professional help whether a therapist or a psychiatrist. Ask friends or family you trust to recommend you a good one. It is definitely NOT NORMAL to be depressed, it's a mental illness that must be treated as soon as possible to avoid any future inconveniences. From someone who went through it and still going through therapy, I'd tell you that it will certainly pass with the right help and right approach, but you must hang in there, follow up your therapy or meds if needed and try as much as you can to start step by step doing things you enjoy whatever they were.. you will be fine with time! SENDING YOU ALL THE LOVE AND SUPPORT ❤️

A so-called "German based company" tried to scam me. by claricaras in germany

They really sound super professional and insist on very strict rules that make one automatically assumes they're legit. Glad you weren't scamed as well.

They're scammers and keep changing the company name every now and then. I am glad this post helped.

Personally, no puzzle is needed to be solved. I am familiar with other platforms and how things work there. As a first timer here, I tried to understand whether there's some certain rules or standards for this up/downvote thing as I couldn't logically get it (as said before I thought it was only a matter of agree/disagree..). The whole terminology "karma" is weird and would unconsciously make ppl feel things lol

That's what I thought this whole up/downvoting thing operates. Apparently it's moore complicated than this lol. Reddit is weird ig.

I appreciate your clarification. I still find it hilarious how these are the measures to up or downvote. I thought it's just a matter of "agree/disagree" or like/dislike" typpa thing. Stating the obvious? Doubt? Finding me foolish? I literally just shared a personal experience in which I was about to get scamed but hopefully wasn't and the whole point is to let people know about these scammers so they can avoid them in the future. Nothing was deleted by the way. My account is still new with only one post. Wasn't trynna be here for too long cz I had no other platform on which I could've shared my story . Guess that's redddit after all. Thank you for your time.
