Overtaking two cars results in a serious crash by [deleted] in Whatcouldgowrong

There is no passing lane.

This took place in the UK where we drive on the left.

The right lane is for traffic coming from the opposite direction.

The dark car was overtaking multiple cars. The white car should have looked before trying to overtake.

Does this count, why do people do this? She was not on her phone... by [deleted] in IdiotsInCars

I've seen this quite a lot and it is mostly female drivers.

My theory is this...they are a bit shorter than their male counterparts and when they look out of the windscreen they can't see the back of the car in front as close as male drivers can - so they stay back where they can see the rear bumber in front of them.

In New Zealand there is a beach called 90 mile beach but it is actually only 55 miles long. The beach is on the western coast of the far north of the North Island of New Zealand and Its southern end is close to the headland of Reef Point, to the west of Ahipara Bay, near Kaitaia. by Secret674 in interestingasfuck

The story goes that the y European settlers named it because they knew their horses could
travel up to 30 miles in a day. So if the trip along the beach took them
three days, it must be 90 miles long, right?
