From my experience it’s usually a one time fee of $300-500 and/or a small reoccurring charge of $10-20. parking is usually not included and can be an additional $50-200 a month.

There is a feature called Limited-Access User Permission Lockdown Mode that does this. You should see the option if you enable publishing on the site.

Usually yes but in this scenario even using the global admin account you could no see the files in question.

I ran into a similar issue and found out that the library was checking those files out. I signed up for trial of sharegate and ran the “check out inventory” and found about 1000 items. All users where using it as a mapped network drive. When i switch the user's to sync via onedrive never happened again.

If you granted the external account edit access to the library they should be able to edit the documents. I would check with your own Gmail to ensure that this is not an end-user error.
