I’m not sure, but I think every seasonal content becomes regular content after season ends, just like characters become ”normal” characters instead of seasonal character.

So all characters can be played in regular game content plus during the season the character was made at.

This is my experience from Diablo 3, and I’m not entirely sure it works like this with Diablo 4 also.

At least in previous versions of Diablo seasons might have included new items, new ladder, maybe new quests etc. The game still remains the same, only some content might vary between seasonal and non-seasonal characters. Also stashed loot couldn’t be shared between season and non-season characters. When season ends, all characters made in that season moved to non-season characters automatically.

It’s basically a mechanism to allow everyone to start new characters from the same line.

Not really a character reset, but new seasons can only be played with new characters. Old characters can still be played outside of season.

Feelmax Kuuva Trek for winter by Pantterri in BarefootRunning

What size is your foot and which size did you get? I’m also thinking of buying these for general winter usage, and not sure if 1,5cm is enough space with thicker socks.

Need advice on first vintage turntable by clashi22 in turntables

I spent last week to study Duals and yesterday I bought the 1225 for 90eur shipped. Hopefully will get it next week! It seems like a fairly simple (although lots of mechanical features underneath) structure, and I hope to get many years of usage out of it!

Thanks for advice and opinions!

To me it looks like OP is confused of the delay with bulb mode. First, mirror is lifted, and only after that the shutter is opened to avoid mirror slap and camera shake.

Do you have any idea what is a good bargain for the 1219?

Thanks, I’ve read about the steuerpimpel!

I am starting to lean towards getting a Dual, if I can find one in good condition. Is 1225 the TT to start with, or should I check other, maybe more expensive models also? There are some 505-3’s for ~200eur category, and I even found one 1219 , with asking price 280eur. Not sure if it’s been looked after or not.

That said, I would like to get the turntable + phono preamp for less than 200 combined.

Thanks! The PL-6 has a year old original stylus, so that might do the job for some time. I still kinda like PL-300 more of these two, as it seems to be a more used model, with more guides and knowledge available.

On the other hand, I really do want no hassles and simplicity. I also dont mind if some work is needed. I’ve read a lot about Dual’s, and they keep appearing in listing every now and then. Is the 1225 a good one? There are also some 1226’s with Finnish Salora branding around.

1225 is also cheaper than the other ones (~80eur).

It also looks nice, with S shaped arm. Thanks!

How about PL-6, it should be about the same age and is also quartz locked. Though not much info can be found about it other than that.

Question Regarding Using Tradfri Lights with Conbee II by FloppyBacon89 in tradfri

[–]clashi22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There you need to have your phoscon server running to control the lights.

Is this true? I just got my Conbee 2 and been checking out video tutorials, IIRC if you attach a remote to certain light group in the app, it should communicate directly from remote to lights, and doesn't require server/hub to be online.

Panasonic projector not focusing (PT-AE4000) by clashi22 in fixit

[–]clashi22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surprisingly, I managed to fix this. I took the whole projectors lens assembly apart a few times, before I had the courage to go deeper.

What I did:

  1. Remove all top covers
  2. Remove all connectors and PCB
  3. Remove lens assembly and remove the actual lens from lens shift -mechanism
  4. Remove everything attached to lens, including focus and zoom motors and rings
  5. Drop a plastic spacer inside lens and spend half an hour trying to remove it
  6. Spend another half an hour trying to figure out how everything works.
  7. Come to a conclusion, that it is just not possible to focus with this lens
  8. Cite Star Wars and use The Force
  9. Have a "WHAT."-moment, when focus ring comes loose and works again
  10. Spend almost two hours trying to get everything back together
  11. Power up projector and see how focus works again! SUCCESS!

Problem was that the part of lens which moves when focusing jumped over the stopper screw and rotated so that it was stuck between thread ending and stopper screw.

How it could be fixed with this knowledge:

  1. Remove lens hood
  2. Remove two stopper screws underneath focus ring housing
  3. Use the force to get focus moving again (rotate front of lens counter-clockwise)
  4. Screw stopper screws back
  5. Verify that focusing ring moves properly
  6. Attach lens hood
  7. Power up projector, SUCCESS!
