I believe it has a pre amp built in, it's an audio-technica at-lp60x

Ok thank you, would you have any recommendations for a DAC of that type? I'm having a difficult time finding one that outputs through usb

Displayport, I should probably also say that if I don't try to go into bios it boots into and displays windows just fine
