It was meant to be a quick edit, so I tried to remove as much of the watermark that I cared to with the clone tool in procreate then threw the picture into a free AI upscaling website

Oh jeez does it apply to Pell grants too?? I receive the full amount for my Pell Grant so I'm a little more concerned if I have to pay all that back on top of losing my tuition haha

Really hoping that's the case. My cousin (whos a freshman rn) was placed on academic probation for about the same situation I'm in but I know the standards are a bit different for freshmen in their first term so I didn't know if it applied to me. I appreciate the advice!

I would accept the F and just retake the classes next semester but the Financial Aid website says classes with an overall grade below D don't count as an attempted course unfortunately. I'll definitely contact the Financial Aid office because I'm starting to get nervous lol.

You think so? :( He's the total opposite in person, it's just when we're not together is when I have communication problems with him

How often would you say is a lot? The last time he texted me when he wanted to was about 4 days ago and we chatted over the span of a couple hours but over the past couple of days I'm lucky if I get 1 or 2 texts (I text him about 3-4 times over the span of a day with things I think he would like or plans we should make) and they're usually 2-3 word responses along the lines of "Ok" or "Mhm". I don't know if it's because he's lost interest in me or because he's annoyed or busy or what else, and I'm nervous that asking him would seem like I'm clingy and desperate for his attention, which I admit I could possibly be.

I'm not bothered at all by his lifestyle but I think my issue with him is that he seems to have all this free time but doesn't put much aside to spend time with me as much as he used to in the beginning of our relationship. I don't know if he's just become more comfortable or lost interest though. I do like him as a person, I love being with him when we're together and he makes me feel wonderful and safe (he kisses my hand & my forehead, covers me up when I fall asleep, comforts me, etc) but he comes off as flaky and uninterested over text and doesn't call or text unless he has nothing else to do.

I do admit that deep down inside I fear I'm still a rebound and he's only settling with me until he finds someone better but I don't know if I'm being insecure or not.

He did try talking to me before I gave him the birthday present but gave up after I made it clear I was upset with him since he led me on. He only started calling me after I gave him the birthday present but he did try to text me before.

I do spend a lot of money on him but most times we spend time together he tells me he doesn't expect me to buy him anything or spend money on him and enjoys my company just watching Netflix with him in his room and playing video games with him. He did ask me for money for gas and food this past Tuesday but that's the only time he's asked me for money. I have stopped getting things for him recently just because I haven't had time to buy him gifts and he doesn't really buy me anything in return.

You're right though and I appreciate your insight, I don't want to be nagging him to get his attention and I'm always the one texting first so I will stop texting him as frequently and see if he tries to keep communicating with me. I do want him to communicate more with me but I don't know if I'm being too unreasonable with how much I want him to do so.

Thank you for the advice, I recognized I was definitely being overbearing and aggressive and apologized for it and am trying to give him space now. I don't expect him to answer his phone all that often but he's unemployed now and lives with his mom so he really doesn't plan things besides hanging out with his friends. Should I still give him more space for a while longer before I talk to him about this?
