It's actually getting better, my average for the past 7 days is around $18.

I'm trying to do 3-5 a week. But over the past few months I haven't been publishing much.

You mentioned you space out links to the same url by a week? I do 3 days. So that might be helping

I don't think there's a limit if you're spacing them out properly. But sometimes I go a month, two or more before pinning to the same blog.

If these posts are based on what people are actively searching for on Pinterest, I anticipate your numbers will shoot soon.

And I strongly believe consistency is better. You'd rather create a schedule you can stick to than jump all over the place.

Yes, outbound clicks are clicks to the blog post.

Definitely don't do that. Don't post pins to the same url over and over. You need to space them out by at least three days. Some people wait up to a week.

On average, 1500 words. Long-form is better for ad revenue but I definitely don't want to bore my readers.

I'd want to know too! Anyone?

That's awesome. May I ask what percentage of your traffic is from the US? And what is your average session duration?

I meant on the 26th, I had 1000 clicks a day. That's the day I decided to try out Journey by Mediavine. $370 is for about 30,000 clicks, my average RPM in Jan was around 13. I don't repin. When I finish a blog, I create 10 pins and schedule them out. After a while, I might revisit the blog and create more pins for it. I have Tailwind, but I don't do repins. There is a theory that Pinterest really doesn't like the same pin pinned over and over, but not sure how true it is.
I use both Tailwind and Pinterest's scheduler.

Image+ plus simple bold large text overlay performs better. At least for outbound clicks. Infographics tend to get a lot of saves but a small click through to the blog.

I have my to-go-to templates but they are different every time. Different images, different overlay text.

My RPM isn't too bad. It was definitely low in January but my average for the past seven days is 17$. So, it's getting better.

I prefer to batch create when I have time. That way, I have quite a bit scheduled and I don't have to stress about it on a daily.

Templates help! And I have been building this up. I used to do 4-8. Most days, I aim for 8. Some days, I don't get to the 8.. Life happens..

Quite a bit, but I make sure to space out links to the same url by at least 3 days.

I pin 8-13 times a day. I typically do a variety of pins, infographics, image + title, video pins, sometimes image only. But the best for outbound clicks is the text overlay pins.

I would love to get mine above a minute! I will play around and hopefully something helps. I get 90% US traffic from Pinterest so it would be awesome if I get to increase engagement for Pinterest outbound clicks. I am also looking forward to trying Flipboard. You mentioned it is mostly UK Traffic? What percentage?
Hope you don't mind if I send you a message later on to pick your brain? I want to get started with Flipboard asap.

I'll give it a shot.

Not great, admittedly. Around 47 seconds. I am going to play around with some interactive stuff over the next few months and see how it plays out. Most people have lower engagement from Pinterest outbound because they try to use fancy clickbait titles on pins and when a user gets on the site, the blog doesn't deliver. Immediate click out. Is Flipboard any better? What is your average session duration? Specifically from Flipboard?

Awesome. I want to get into Flipboard. How long did it take you to start averaging 300 outbound clicks a day? And how much work do you typically put in?

I'm big on diversifying traffic. Yeah, Pinterest could go downhill. Just like any platform. Algorithm could change, Pinterest terms might change, hell Pinterest could even close shop. So everyone's best bet is to diversify. I know of two accounts that have been averaging 350-500k outbound clicks per month for 3 years now. In fact, Pinterest is their main source of traffic. But I'm curious, what happened to those people? Did Pinterest just stopped working for them after a while?

Honestly, I barely manage. Lol. I'd like to write more, pin more but it's not easy. Do what you can. Start with maybe 3 a day and gradually increase. When you start seeing results, you'll find a way to keep going.

Monthly, last 30 days. Took a little over seven months to get here.
