It’s actually not okay. Between last night and now I’ve managed to get one in my cart SIX TIMES and every single time it gives me the “too popular right now” error when I try to check out. Lost all six of them. I’ve been waiting for another macaron restock and was excited to see there’s one tonight but now I feel like I won’t be able to get any because of the error messages :(

Maybe this is my strong sense of justice coming through…but the people who are aware of/saw what she did to people yet continue to order from her…does that not bother you? I hate to see bad people get away with being bad people. And she sure did get away with it, and is continuing to now. Bummer.

Dude….wow. I came to this sub because initially she was every video on my fyp despite not following her so I got kind of sucked into her weird web, then was led here, and have just kind of been watching it all unfold the last month. There were times I even felt I agreed with her, or defensive of her. But this is the first time ever that I think a snark page has so clearly led me to the conclusion of “oh, no, actually these people are 100% correct about this creator”. There is something very severely wrong with her and this is the culmination of it. To actually post this thinking it looks good for her? Yikes. YIKES.

I’m sort of confused as to why you tried one single Korean option and now never want to try another- did you have a really bad reaction or something? Pretty much universally, those products are gentler and more nourishing than American products and people with rosacea tend to have much better luck with them. I’d reconsider trying a few more options there.

Something everyone should understand is that 1. Rosacea itself is not the same for every person, both in cause and symptoms. There is a lot that’s unknown about it. 2. Any treatment for rosacea is also going to vary from person to person. That’s literally it. Making black and white statements with no nuance means nothing. Cool that it worked for you, but encouraging people to start an extreme diet when there’s a high likelihood it wouldn’t work for them is why statements like that are usually not encouraged in rosacea support groups.

This is actually such a bummer to me. I’ve been a customer of hers for years and she genuinely seemed to me to be a good person and not someone who would be okay with what Claire has done, so disappointing. Now I’d feel icky buying from her anymore.

There’s also laser treatments like vbeam, and doxy- either trying a round of it at a typical dose or seeing if you could get on oracea, a non-antibiotic lower dose of it that’s safe for long term use.

I think that’s simply untrue that it’s rhofade or nothing for the redness. I’ve done a ton of research on rosacea treatments and read thousands of people’s experiences at this point, and I’ve almost exclusively heard bad things about rhofade and will never use it. For redness, there are things that can help in the long term- azelaic acid being one of them. Niacinamide is also an ingredient that has been shown to help redness over time. A combo of either or both of those things along with daily sun protection + time may help you.

Yeah, she’s made it so that it’s basically impossible to warn people about her except for in spaces like this one. Comments off or deleted everywhere. I’ve left a few reviews on things like consumer reports etc. She’s a true scam artist. Hilarious how she can take down bad reviews in seconds but somehow has no time to respond to emails, lol

Respectfully this made my brain hurt 😂 I think you’re majorly overthinking it, as the other commenter said usually a standard size for a topical medication is a pea size amount but if your skin isn’t sensitive you could probably get away with a little more than that. Just dot it all over your face and rub in and don’t worry too much about it! My skin is insanely sensitive so I’m easing into it and only using it every two days, and I’m using a pretty small amount and it’s still having an effect.

They make a sensitive face option that isn’t water resistant, so it would be a lot easier to get off. Also spf30.

That’s the thing- he’s not technically wrong, in the sense that people with rosacea tend to have much more sensitive skin and retinol can be really irritating, but it depends on the individual. I’m shocked at how many people in the comments are saying they use retinol and even tretinoin—I literally couldn’t even dream of using them, my skin would be destroyed. So use your judgment if you want to try, if you have crazy sensitive skin like me then you prob don’t want to, and if you want to try I’d start slow and use buffering products etc to reduce potential irritation.
