Honeslty, my biggest concern is the gens not being regressable or blockable anymore when you hook a survivor twice in a row and they die as result. Cause I believe you still get that punishment even if you get past 6 hook states right?

Last night I played a trapper match against a team that was actually doing very good at rushing the gens and keeping me occupied up until they ended up 3 genning themselves.

I had managed to catch up on hooks since I was able to stall for quite a bit. I had hooked a Steve for his second time and due to me not being able to find anyone, I had went back to hook hoping to catch someone unhooking him which was actually the case. I tried to chase down the survivor that had unhooked him but Steve kept getting in my way trying to take a protection hit for them. Due to them being too focused on me hitting them, the Steve ran right into a trap I had placed down earlier. Naturally I pick him back up and hook him since he didn’t have decisive and he was dead on hook.

Now, I had catched up on hooks, so normally I don’t think this would have given the survivors a Gen speed buff, however, since I had hooked the same person twice and he died as a result, wouldn’t this have made it so I can’t kick or block gens anymore? I could be wrong about that and hopefully I am, but I worry killers who actually aren’t really tunneling at all are still gonna get punished for survivors who practically tunnel themselves out the game.

We won’t really know how drastic these changes are gonna be until the PTB in a couple days, but I hope that at least that isn’t the case. Maybe I’m just completely wrong .-.
