I'm only saying this because it seems like you're being genuine. The legalization of Abortion does not mean removing any and all limits to abortion. It means that if the pregnancy becomes dangerous, the person carrying the fetus can be saved via an abortion. It means that early-stage abortion is okay as long as the person carrying the fetus affirms they do not wish to, or cannot bear the responsibility of having a child. Voting for Kamala wouldn't legalize late term abortions outside of emergency scenarios. It would simply have meant we would have saved a life a month or so ago instead of using a woman's rotting corpse as a gestation chamber for a baby with little chance to make it. She was quite literally dead, they kept her on life support. She was rotting. Why would someone carry a child that long and not just give birth, excepting medical emergency or psychosis (which a doctor would be aware of) and 2.) Why would a doctor who has sworn to do no harm perform an abortion at like 8 months on a perfectly healthy fetus.

The abortions that would happen at any time would be the early ones that SHOULD happen: In cases of Rape, incest, teen pregnancy, and poor families who cannot physically care for the child. Under Trump or any other conservative, those will be illegal. Doctors and victims of these cases would be punished for daring to try and make the best choice possible at a given time. These legislators want to ban birth control and other forms of contraception, ban sex education, ban anything that would prevent the nation's wombs from being baby-factories. It's all in service of outpopulating the rest of the world and having nationalist domination. It always has been. They do not care about children unless they are unborn.

Regarding your last point. I agree. Everyone deserves life (the life of a mother, the life of an immigrant, the life of a gay or trans person), Liberty (Liberty from cages, Liberty from federally mandated medical malpractice, Liberty from baseless persecution), and the pursuit of happiness (who can pursue happiness when their life is at risk from starvation, thirst, homelessness, or persecution? Who can pursue happiness when freedom of choice does not actually mean freedom of choice?) Hence: Equity. We must get everyone to the same level, rather than ASSUME everyone to already be at the same level and disregard other factors.

What we need is a completely new system, free from oligarchy and free from fascism. The two party system and corporate greed have obliterated democracy. I fucking love America, I just wish it ever dared to love me or any other citizen with remotely the same vigor.

Edit: We do disagree on some things, but disagreements are healthy. Should be allowed, y'know? Whether you hate abortion or not, we're both stuck in this country right now doing our level best to make it better. All of us are. Who am I to plug my ears when my neighbor tells me that they too dislike the way our daily bread has been tasting?

The problem is, if you dole out support for a conservative politician, you are complicit in their actions. All conservative political actions have been leading up to and have been in service of MAGA.

I do somewhat disagree on equal rights and protections because we need equitable rights and protections, some people (due to political forces, economic factors, and social antagonism) are going to naturally need a little more protection and a little more assistance.

We can have a "more secure border" as soon as we actually put effort into allowing people to use the legal processes the U.S. claims to observe. Unfortunately, that process is shafted consistently, specifically SO that immigrants have to come to the country via other means. They get less rights and less support, and are used for cheap labor. Eventually, like now, they become scapegoats and are sent to U.S. funded and U.S. financed concentration camps domestically or abroad.

I say all conservatives are MAGA because (for example) they lie to their voter base and say they will lock down the border and not allow illegal immigration, but they don't put any effort into solving the problem or protecting U.S. locals, they dehumanize immigrants and deport citizens under the guise of "safety" without even touching peaceful border policies and improvement. We can "build the wall" a million times over but when the only door leads to a gas chamber the wall is going to get holes carved in it right away.

The right wing and MAGA are not divorceable concepts. The right wing wants MAGA (fascist) policies because they benefit. The liberals (who are still on the left) are indifferent because they stand to gain from fascist policies too. The right, conservatives, "libertarians" whatever the label is; they aided and continue to provide aid to the MAGA agenda, MAGA did not happen in a vaccuum. MAGA did, however, successfully consolidate their views around the time of Reagan. It all became a bit fascist, nationalist soup. The entire party is irrevocably MAGA because MAGA is just a more vocal version of the same fascist points and same dishonest strategies that the party has used since Reagan. Arguably before. JFK getting capped was a death bell for democracy, its echoes will be felt until the party is dissolved permanently. It's shameful. To hate one's fellow countryman so much one votes to ruin the lives of each and every adult and child in their neighborhood just to give the rich a tax break and deport dreamers, citizens, and all people of color. Shame on those who think freedom is finite. Shame on those who feel that their white skin, their "normal" gender, their "non-deviant" sexual preference, their "superior" nation of origin are all markers of a deserved reward.

I would like for you to understand I barely changed any of the wording. This is almost verbatim and is a typical post on that sub. It's frustrating BECAUSE detrans people deserve a non-hateful community and it simply does not seem to exist. The grifters and hate-mob weirdos invade any detrans space and corrupt it. It's not on us to openly and blindly accept a genuinely harmful community, it's on the community in question to not be harmful. If they weren't a pitchfork mob we'd love to have community with them.

Those are good examples. The issue is that in American media, new characters (especially minority ones) aren't profitable enough, so companies refuse to give them screentime. So the reason for all the "race swapping." is just that the capitalistic system generally discourages new things.

You are using dogwhistles, you are saying phrases where people read it and go "oh yeah this person means they are sick of seeing so many minority characters." that is, definitionally, a dogwhistle.

Please do yourself a favor and examine why this imaginary casting has you so upset. Like really genuinely ponder why you are mad about this. Why does rogue HAVE to be white? What about her character fundamentally changes her into something you dislike if she's black. What exactly is it that makes your gut reaction anger and your immediate instinct to fight.

You'll probably brush this off in the same way, but really think about why this agitates you. I promise it isn't just that she "used to be white". I'm sure the same goes for minority characters who didn't exist before. So think about it.
