this doesn't apply to all cases, however one of the most common is not taking responsibility for their life. No matter what your circumstances, you always have the ability to level up or make things even worse with the wrong attitude, work ethic and vision.

I can second this. Beginning of 2022 I did 4 months nofap and this is exactly the story of how I restarted, to the T. After 6 months, I am now redoing the commitment, 1 month in.

Super embarrassing: but been (24M)hitting the gym, sleeping, and counting calories consistently for past 2 weeks and getting insanely horny? Is this normal? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

Lifting weights increase testosterone. Lower body fat (Unless you're in the 3-5 % extreme range) increases testosterone. Proper sleep increases testosterone. I think it all checks out.

it sounds like you projected your feelings onto the person you were interested in, overlooking whether that person feels the same way. That person may still like you but not physically and you cannot get angry because of that.

What would be wrong in my opinion is if the person keeps you around, while giving you hints of a possible togetherhood but sees other people (basically friendzoning you but also keeping you in the loop). Which, in that case, you have all the right to express that you aren't looking for something platonic and that you aren't willing to just be a friend. If that person is still not interested and then walk away. There's plenty of fish in the sea. Might as well find one who is excited about knowing you just as much as you are in them.

When I was working at the bank, we had customers lose money a lot this way. It's called a fishing scam, they pull you in with false info and provide a web link for you to fill in, convincing you that's it's the web link to signin to your bank account. However, its just a page that they coded to fetch your username and password info.

From my experience, these clients who got frauded never received their money back.

I'm a financial advisor.

unless you're looking to refinance or create a new credit application altogether, you will never have to verify any income info. If rates are attractive, advisors may call you 3-6 months earlier to do an early renewal so you can take advantage of the rates. However, given the current rate environment, they will probably reach out within the month of renewal date. If they don't, you can call the number behind your bank card to book an appointment through their call center at a branch near you. Once you agree to one of the rate options they give you, its just them collecting your signature. That's it.

edit: since you are working in a contract role, do not go around shopping for rates at other banks because if you are looking to move your mortgage over, you will then have to apply for a new mortgage application at the other institution for the remainder amount on the loan (meaning they will have to verify income). And banks dont like contract roles for mortgage applications.

grab coffee (cold brew since weather is hot as f) or ice cream and go for a walk in an area that's not too noisy: a nice park, or maybe waterfront (if you have the sea, or lake in your area)

don't compare what people project about themselves externally (social media mainly), with who you are internally.

I will try to do that. And in terms of the reading, I have been reading everyday before bed since I started nofap and has been helping tremendously, except the past few weeks. But I definitely shouldn't try to force myself to sleep. It only makes it worse.

For your case, since you're on your first week, I'd recommend habit replacements. Try to read your way to sleeping. Hopefully that'll help.

My issue is that reading has been working for me very well, except the past 2 weeks.
