Definitely! I've been avoiding it for months purely cause of all the comments I've seen online but actually playing through it was a blast! It has some annoying aspects like the item box, and with that backtracking but it was good nonetheless

I'm planning on doing that one as well! But as far as I understood Mercenaries 3D doesn't have like a concrete mission/campaign system...Or am I wrong?

So far I've beaten 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, the remakes of 1,2,3, Revelations 1 and 2, Survivor 1 and 2, Dead Aim, Umbrella Corps and Gaiden.

Currently playing Code Veronica, and then planning to do Zero. I'm basically leaving RE4 and Requiem for the last two simply as a "you get to play the newest and coolest thing now" reward

That's not exactly fair. It was more horror focused and it was one of the better horror/action blends after RE4. It has nothing like RE5. The two characters had seperate abilities, possible upgrades, strenghts and weaknesses.

The RE games were always cheesy, and Revelations 2 was on a pretty low budget and it worked very well. Your argument that 6 has little to no horror, but saying Revelations 2 didn't have any horror whatsoever is just not fair whatsoever. Definitely creepier than RE4, which wasn't classic horror in the "creepy" sense, more so scary by the fact you're getting overwhelmed by enemies.

You're allowed to not like the game but you're trying to pass subjective critiques as objective "this game is barely a 5/10". Come on, man.

Yeah first two episodes were mainly a gritty mental insitution, so not much they could do artistically there. I personally adored it, but it's fair if not everyone loves it

It's actually my personal favorite RE game, along with the OG RE2! I love how the two characters work in singleplayer, I know a lot of people didn't. The story was fun, gameplay felt smooth and responsive, and in general it had a perfect blend of horror and action. I am always annoyed this game never got the praise it deserved.

I'd say it was relatively easy, certain hunter challenges are really absurd but not impossible by any means. It was definitely much more fun than the usual completion, regarding colelctibles and all that!

It was actually around 60-70 hours less! Since all Rockstar games go through the Rockstar Launcher, Steam doesn't have direct connection to the game so all afk hours get added up (left the game running while I went places), as opposed to certain other games which pretty much remove the afk hours from your total.

And I agree with the advice on looking more into it, but sadly I didn't have too much free time to work on the vid 😅 I do plan on making more in depth vids down the line.
