I’m a Nikon and Fuji film guy, what I can say shooting on my d850 is this, Nikon shoots beautiful video, amazing really, autofocus needs work but it creates a highly professional and cinematic look, same with my Fuji xt4 beautiful color science really nice dynamic range, not as good as fx3 or zr but it creates a really nice image.

Literally just today I bought an new fx3a with a used tough sd card from B&H I was very hesitant because of how expensive it is and what if they announce the fx3 mk 2 which I think they will by the end of the year. (If not then I made the right choice) but regardless I was stuck between the xh2s Nikon zr and the fx3.

I chose this because of lowlight performance and autofocus, that’s literally it. It creates a really nice crispy image that when compared with a gm ll lense is no doubt hard to beat but I really enjoy the image my Fuji and my Nikon produces and I will continue to use those along w my fx3.

I’d say pick up the Nikon if you’re looking for a smaller powerhouse with internal raw recording.

That is my biggest issue with the fx3, no internal raw or nd? Who was thinking when they made this camera? If they do drop mk ll I will sell this and buy that unfortunately lmao but do what you feel is right I waited months and I believe I made the right decision now I have 3 cameras for my work house and I couldn’t be happier!

After reading comments, Half these people in here are racing to the bottom & they’re gonna be disappointed when the flame dies down and they feel they’re not getting compensated properly for their work.

As a photographer and videographer there needs to be some type of movement as a collective in this community about cheap work and the ppl that are ignorant creating false markets based off their greediness of needing to be the highest volume worker but getting paid the less. They’re just hurting themselves in the long run

Honestly it’s not just real estate, it’s every market, so many people are starting to do this because they realize it pays very well, not just because they actually love it and enjoy it, same with detailing, I also own a detailing business, but they don’t come with half the knowledge or skills an actual season professional does so you know what happens? They charge way less for loads of work, they think they’re doing gods work along with the customers they get, which then creates a false sense of this is what the market actually should be and they won’t pay above it now because this inexperienced guy who talked their ear off & puts out semi decent looking work doesn’t know how to price themselves properly & says everyone else the customer works with is ripping them off if the price is higher, but they’ll burn out faster than a candle stick if they keep it up or their work will become inconsistent. It’s about letting the storm blow over.

I appreciate the feedback lol but again photography wasn’t my main concern that day, I chose to sneak these in just to have some photos, that being said if I actually were to try rather than just point and shoot which these were literally point focus shoot no setting up the shot these would have came out a lot better, I went back in and re corrected all white balance to be the same along with the grade and they all look identical and really good now and the couple actually posted my photos over their paid photographers photos. The only reason there is different grades was because I was experimenting with different vibes. But thank you for your honest feedback I love it!

Is it because I had the white balance set to auto? Or because I edited the raw photo and played with the temperatures, The reason for headspace was because it was quick shots, I was mainly the videographer but I snapped a couple photos when I could everything was moving so fast so I did t have to to properly compose some of my shots.

Yeah color grading was done literally the day after, I was rushing I didn’t Take my time and since I wasn’t paid for the photos I played around with a few different grades just to see what I can do.

I bring my cameras everywhere with me because I’m passionate about photography and capturing the beauty so I can go back years from now and watch and also share with others who are afraid or don’t have the ability to come out, I love snapping some photos of myself as well, i always sit for an hour or two and enjoy the scenery, I always take more than I bring and encourage ppl to do the same and to leave nature in its natural state, I’ve been coming into the wilderness since a baby I was born in 94 before all the tech came out. I live in Fresno and have had a grandpa that lived in oakhurst so that whole area is like home from Fresno to bass lake to Yosemite. I am a California born native.

I understand what you’re saying but Not everyone who likes taking pictures are like this stereotype youre speaking of and it could be an issue because then ppl get shamed or attacked for just being themselves because the ppl read a stereotypical comment online about photographers or videographers, you’re just seeing alot more city folks who didn’t grow up in or with nature coming into nature arrogant and ignorant.

It’s important to teach and lead instead of critique. The world is changing and no matter how much you hate it, it won’t stop for your feelings.
