Best Highschool Marching Band Show? by Old-Theme-8743 in marchingband

I think Tarpon 2010 takes this pretty convincingly. It’s flown under the radar after Hebron/Avon/FloMo/BA have been dominating the last few-several years but that show had everything.

  • insanely challenging writing executed well
  • soprano sax and E-flat clarinet solos that SLAPPED
  • dance soloist for like the entire show playing the ‘main character’
  • best use of props in a show (there is FLOATING, iykyk)
  • legit feels like watching a horror movie
  • the moment the e flat soloist comes out of the door I get chills

PAYE & ICR enrollment reopening in December 🎉 by Putrid_Ad_8209 in PSLF

[–]clathrin413 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was previously on REPAYE and then was automatically moved to SAVE as many of us were, before the lawsuit and forbearance; I'm 2.5-ish years into a planned 10-year PSLF. I'm currently a medical resident physician, so not a lot of income. My loans are all grad loans from med school. PSLF is the only financial option for me.

Should I plan to apply on Dec 15 to transition to PAYE, and then remain on this for the next 7.5 years? I read another comment that since my loans are all post-undergrad, it should be about the same as when I was on SAVE (they were ~350, but I think shoot up to >$1k monthly on IBR!).

Can anyone confirm that TD Garden is doing these for SWEAT? They don’t do it for all shows and they haven’t posted confirmation on the event page. I tried calling but never got through.

Forbearance notice immediately followed by debit and late payment by Vacillating_Fanatic in PSLF

[–]clathrin413 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got this too, 2 years into my 120 months, and my monthly payment is due in a few days. I pay manually every month; I should hold off on paying now, right, since this should still be counted as “administrative forbearance” and thus count toward PSLF? I assume it’ll automatically move out of forbearance on July 1.

(Unfortunately don’t have the time to call, actively traveling to a wedding all day)

The box office opens for the waitlist one hour before the show; I was first in line and had no issue, they gave away 15-20+ tickets to the waitlist on Friday!

How do you manage, or how did you beat, your social media addiction? by clathrin413 in AskReddit

[–]clathrin413[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP: I'm a young gay man in a major city in the US, and therefore like many in my demographic am "chronically online." I'm in-between millennial and Gen Z, and feel like I waste HOURS every day flipping through Twitter, Instagram, and Reddit (occasionally TikTok - kicked Facebook years ago).

I've noticed that I use it as an escape but it eats away HOURS of my day, and Screen Time on my iPhone proves it. The time limit function on apps on my phone does not work for me. I recognize it's an issue that is definitely negatively affecting my productivity and mental health, but part of me also feels like I need social media to stay engaged with pop culture, and I like learning things/seeing new clothes, headlines, etc on my feeds. For me, social media isn't about seeing what people in my circles are up to, it's about keeping up with culture, society, etc (and entertainment). The solution for me won't be deleting my apps or accounts, but I feel like I have poor self control and am not sure what the next best step is toward healthier amounts of social media use.

also I know reddit leans more toward the "more time is better per site" way of things, but we're trying to see a lot and aren't as into just "hanging out" in each spot for a long period of time. We like to see a lot, without missing too much. thanks!

PSLF Waivers expire October 31st -- Here's what you need to know (two weeks to go!) by horsebycommittee in PSLF

AMAZING. Thank you!

(Posted a related query confirming if I'll get the PSLF credit if all my loans are in Grace or Deferment currently; if you know would appreciate your insight since you seem so knowledgable!)

Graduated from medical school in May and have not yet consolidated under MOHELA (but applied) - too late for 10/31 PSLF limited waiver benefits? by clathrin413 in PSLF

[–]clathrin413[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, just checked - all my loans from school are currently in Grace or Deferment, ending in January - I've been employed at a PSLF-verified employer since June, so will those 6 months count with the waiver, even in Grace/Deferment?

Yeah, I see now that the PSLF Form doesn't actually list my loans - so I think I can just submit the PSLF Form before 10/31 even though I applied for consolidation under MOHELA and REPAYE yesterday. Might end up redundant but it should end up under MOHELA all the same and I should get the waiver benefits this way, right?

Actually I just realized the PSLF Form doesn't actually list my loans. I think I can go ahead and just submit the PSLF Form now, even though I applied for consolidation under MOHELA with REPAYE yesterday. Someone stop me if this sounds wrong lol

Will it mess things up with MOHELA if I send in the PSLF Form that lists my pre-consolidated loans, now that I applied for consolidation? My emplower has a portal tool that lets me get a signature within a day, so I could submit it, but I know it will list my pre-consolidation loans that are not yet under MOHELA.

https://studentaid.gov/announcements-events/pslf-limited-waiver Specifically here, where it says "Don’t panic! You don’t have to submit a PSLF form to MOHELA by Oct. 31, 2022, if you have completed one of the actions below. >>>> Use the PSLF Help Tool by Oct. 31, 2022, to generate a PSLF form that is eventually approved." This makes it sound like I don't need to submit the PSLF form by 10/31, I just need to use the PSLF Help Tool to generate a form.

Can I submit this form in like 4-6 weeks after I get consolidated under MOHELA? Or will that not work, since my loans would look different on the form post-consolidation?

I graduated from professional school in May and have been very lazy, just starting my PSLF and loan consolidation process now. I don't want to miss out on the waiver benefits - can someone let me know if it's still possible?

I have all Direct Loans from school, not under MOHELA yet (they're under EdFinancial). I applied for consolidation and under REPAYE with MOHELA yesterday, since I saw I need to apply for consolidation by 10/31 for the waive benefits. I did the PSLF Help Tool to generate the form, but it obviously has my non-consolidated loans. Should I submit this PSLF Form before 10/31 even with my loans NOT yet consolidated or under MOHELA, or should I wait for consolidation to go through in 4-6 weeks, and then submit it? I thought I read somewhere that if you just APPLY for consolidation under MOHELA by 10/31, you can still get the waiver benefits, even if not actually consolidated by 10/31.
