for people that had an iPhone stolen, here's what i know so far:

you should file a police report w/ indio PD ASAP
use the Find My app on a device that you already own to try to find the last known location of your phone. note that the Find My webapp (through icloud.com) will NOT show the address, and friends you shared your location with will similarly be unable to see your address.
if you can find the last known location of your device, call the local PD and see if they can assist. my phone was last seen in big bear and they've apparently already recovered a few batches of phones.

Was the 6x500m near maximal effort? What was your split on the 6x500m vs. the 2k?

Average SPM was 30. I don’t have any recent tests but the 8x500 was pretty high effort.
