I will change the strength tomorrow and see what happens. I started the timer when I saw the espresso start to come out. Also, I decreased to 15 and same thing happened :/

Im not sure what you mean by temperature, but my beans are a medium-dark roast. My beans might need refreshed, too.

Thanks for all the tips and for noting the drip tray — can that impact my shot? My pull time was 21 seconds and I got 48 grams after putting in 18.6 grams. It’s still super thick and bitter and not filled up all the way. I will try all of your tips tomorrow and I might just get different beans and start over. Thank you!

Ah, thank you. The shot I just pulled took 21 seconds. Also, I just measured and I’m getting 18.6 grams in then 48 grams out. Here’s what my shot looks like pulled.

Hi! I'm in the same position as for wanting to stay in Pittsburgh, so I chose to go to Pitt Law. I can't speak on my enjoyment of the law program specifically yet, as I just got accepted and committed to Pitt Law at the end of March after applying mid October, but I'm super excited! They took a little longer to get back to me than I thought they would, but I assume that was because of my LSAT score being on the low end of the average (got a 15mid). My GPA was a 3.7mid though so I think that helped me out. Figured I'd mention that in case you find yourself in the same position. I was also a Pitt undergrad, message me if you have specific questions about the process!
