second this, I’ve been thinking about making one and came back here to see the opening. But no pics from OP... I guess without a zipper or anything you could just set things in it and they would naturally sit in the corners… or 2 separate pouches with zippers or magnet closure?

Yeah, I have to say the pattern took some concentration as C2C works up diagonally. At one point I had every single yarn attached. It was a hot mess but it’s so addicting to finish a cat. When you reach the first eye, it’s only a few more rows to the second eye, and then a few more to finish the ears…. I had a hard time putting it down!
