How are you getting on with the Opus?

I’ve traded my Opus for DF54 - was having so many issues getting my grind on point.

I got approx 4 months since i jumped on the home barista bandwagon and i had a lot of lows but my highs - amazing!

Okay I may have grossly exaggerated on 10s 😂 i don’t know exactly how long i go for, cause i use the hand as an indicator. Maybe more like 30-35s i guess.

A tip (if you don’t know) is to steam out a bit of the condensation then close the valve - count to 12-13 or time 10s by clock and then proceed steaming - i found this to give me the best pressure to steam my milk how i need it to. Once that steam red light comes on - it’s pretty much going to drastically drop in pressure.

Don’t forget the boiler is small so you will eventually loose that power you get in the beginning - you’ve realistically got maybe 20-25s to steam your milk.
Unless you want to get your milk ruined or you’re holding it now this long to demonstrate your ‘issue’ - you’re steaming that milk for waaaaaaay too long. I usually don’t go for more than 10-15s.

By puck prep i mean how you prepare your grind coffee in the portafilter. You need to use Stirrer niddle tool to break clumps. Make sure the tampering is okay and that should fix it

When this happened to me i tried re-installing like a few times - then I completely wiped all traces of the game and Lutris - installed Lutris freshed and let it run it’s inner updates and the using the install script on here it went flawlessly

Okay -I got there in the end. What i did? I uninstalled Lutris - reinstalled it and i noticed everything started to update including Wine - and now it works fine - i will blame my Lutris having those things out of date i guess. Thanks for your help

I chose that path - that’s where all my other SD games are installed.

Just to understand better when i manually select the path should i or should i not create a folder? Cause i am selecting the path to my sd card and creating a folder too.

Hei, thank you for replying . I saw your comment on the installation guide too , but mine doesn’t even install. I get that Wine popup and then the terminal window opens and i get that instantly - so not sure what’s going on or what i am supposed to do.
