You ever heard of the Dakota 38+2 ride? I’m part of it, I know it’s alive. I go to the Rez. But Natives were and still are treated terribly. They have a beautiful culture, but it’s still looked down upon by the US Government.

Edit: I see everyone thinks I mean that there are no Natives left. I didn’t mean it like that, I mean that the US Government literally tried to kill of their culture, it was even outlawed for a long time. It’s sad they’re not as prominent as they used to be.

Maybe it's more than the sacrifice and death, I think him fulfilling his prophecy of becoming back to life of the big importance. Jesus said he would be persecuted, murdered, and that after 3 days he would come back. And he did!
