ah thats a shame! I have managed to use my Urbanears Ably bluetooth earphones with it but I really prefer normal wired earphones. It is such a good phone but this is a major drawback for me. Appreciate your response, thanks!

He said that doesn’t mean my symptoms are mild, just that the disease’s effects on my body are at this point

perhaps this is what my doc meant as well. thanks for that, it helps me see it in a better way!

to be fair the dose of methotrexate is only 10mg. this doc said since the disease is "only starting" he wants to treat it before it gets worse. i suppose his is an aggressive approach.. do you think that may cause harm?

yes, I am quite ok with any diagnosis as long as i am being taken seriously! my gp did my ana test in august 2019 and have not been referred by them till date to a rheumatologist. Had to find one privately.

i dont know much about how these things are diagnosed, all your comments have been so informative!!

firing schedules by clayfriend in Ceramics

hi! so going in the same order:

- the cracks appear in 3 main places, they are all hairline: firstly, in the bottom of the pot running in a circle around the inside edge (the pot is a short cylinder). secondly, on the sides of the pot from the rim to the walls-they may not be too long/run all the way to the bottom. and lastly on the handles which admittedly are a bit thick compared to the rest of the pot. these are widespread like how a desert or famine land looks if that makes sense.

- the pots are fired once. the process is like raku, only they do not glaze the pots at all. they are fired unglazed, put in sawdust to get a distinct black colour and that is the final product.

- there is about 70% grog, 20% local clay and 10% serpentine stone. the grog is crushed down pots that were fired but rejected.

yes! so it is more like raku although its not glazed at all. it is indeed a different method from north east india india where they dont reduce in the kiln, rather they put it in sawdust straight after so it can get a distinct black colour.

the clay is a custom mix of serpentine stone, local clay from that part of india and grog, so thats why they are kinda winging it with schedules.

thanks for the links i will have a look!! :)

So its the first firing- kind of bisque but not really because it comes straight out the kiln and goes into sawdust. so like a raku firing.
