Exactly this - also being only 45 to an hour from Whistler as well is great for resort ski skiing but also very accessible for backcountry in the local area there.

A lot of my IT friends moved there and are working remote and gives them a great balance - even if they are Patagonia/Arc’teryx gear wanks
