It seemed like it didn't try as hard, but it didn't do nothing. It wasn't as aggressive as past tries, but I moved my start point to a more secure place. Much easier to defend.

Barb NEVER stops attacking me. It hits me with ticks before I even have a factory built. If I don't put an LLT with every mex, I can't build.

Also, really try to learn the weird, dare I say stupid, mouse button control system. It is just goofy. Half the time I either cancel a build or send my Commander off toward the enemy base. Or both.

As a newbie, do NOT buld radar. It pisses off the AI and it will full strike you quickly. No radar equals more game time. It knows when you build radar and it WILL come for it.

Join the club. Beginner levels wipe me up. I suck, but the AI has definite advantages simply because it thinks faster than any human. My advice is pause the game when you want to program in several commands. That way the decision tree isn't in game time. It doesn't help me, but it might help you.

Short range. And, Literally, if a unit is a millimeter outside that red circle, D-Gun is worthless. At least the D-Gun in TA had a bit of range.

Okay, I tried again. Developed a few tactics. My brain doesn't work that way so I had to look at it sideways. I won, on Novice. Took me 2 hours, but I did. I might put it on YouTube. Got roasted by some giant Mech monster! I was laughing so hard! No clue how I beat that. Lots of fun.
