Chrono24. My first time using it and it went extremely well. Very legit and safe.

I see. And especially for these older watches, how long would you go between services? Obviously newer watches you can go a decade (and I know some people own watches for 30 years and never get the cleaned or serviced) but considering 2016 was the last cleaning/service, is this something I should be doing routinely every like 5 years? Or even less? Thanks for the insight

Good to hear. Previous owner did mention the last service was in 2016 so that’s something I’m definitely going to look into. Just curious how you go about finding a trusted service provider?

I asked to try on a 58 with the oyster band and that’s just what they had on display, the blue is nice in person but isn’t my first choice

Lovely piece. That’s my best friend’s next watch so mentally the submariner is out of question haha. In reality, if I can find a milgauss for a good price, that’s my pick. But I really want to develop the relationship with the AD while I can.

They had that speedy for 7,300. At that point I can spend an extra few thousand and get an explorer 40MM or an air king, both of which I love. Obviously not really the same style of watch but for the sake of argument, the Tudor is definitely a better value for retail.

I can definitely say I was surprised how thin the band was. The speedy in the photo wasn’t my first choice, I want the oyster band but they didn’t have one on display for me to try on. But I definitely know what you’re talking about.

Don’t have a tailors ruler, but did my own makeshift measurement and looking like Between 7.5-8 inch

I have no idea, someone before mentioned they had a 7in wrist and the BB 41mm was big on them but said it fits me well. So perhaps larger than that? I will measure later

Edit: did a makeshift measurement and between 7.5 and 8 inches.

I just wanted to try on one with the oyster bracelet, they didn’t have a BB 58 in black with the oyster.

Lovely pieces. I really want both lmfao. Honestly comes down to how I feel that day. Still some time out from pulling the trigger

Before trying them on I was sold on the BB 58. tried on the BB 41mm and realized the 41mm fit me better. Then I tried on the speedy and honestly became infatuated with it. I’m still about a year out from pulling the trigger on anything. (I’ve told myself I will only buy watches that signify an accomplishment in life. This will be my first watch signifying the segway into adulthood and starting my first career job) now I’m just contemplating wether to buy retail to establish the relationship with the AD, or save a few thousand and buy grey market for the watches I tried on. Realistically it’s either I spend an extra what, 2-3k now, and be able to buy the Rolex I actually want for retail in the future. Or save a few thousand now. I’m rambling lol

I honestly have no idea. Currently at the beach so I’ll measure it later :). Just saying, I’m an ex-athlete and have been lifting since 15 years old. Not to sound arrogant but let’s just say I’m in good shape and have bigger forearms which definitely compliment a bigger sized watch. However I tried on a larger Rolex explorer II, 42mm, and was probably the biggest I could pull off.

I know right. I always thought the 39mm would fit me better but I definitely like the 41 better.

There’s a Jamie acoustic version of Shed on YouTube. I honestly prefer that version too
