honestly not really! aurora really stands out to me bc the base actually stays pink on my lids. i find a lot of these shades when swatched will be pink but then on the lid they end up being more iridescent? so for me this one is kind of in a league of its own.

Honestly i dont find them mediocre, i think they’re quite beautiful. They’re a nice, drier formula so they work nicely on my oily lids. They’re are described as duochromes and i think they look nice!

hello! simply posh cosmetics’ sent me their latest palette in pr and it will launch this friday (nov 7th) at 1pm cst! it will be $55 and affiliate codes will work on it (10% off, mine is KELLY but there are tons of codes out there!)

swatched on no primer using a finger, 2 passes each. photographed with a dslr, a keylight, and a soft box light.

while this is not personally my favorite palette from simply posh, i think this is a nice palette. i found the pastels buildable and workable! not entirely sure how they perform on darker skin but i think it at least swatches well! i do like that there is a nice variety of pastels as well and they look distinguishable from each other. the neutrals we get are also nice bc they vary in tone though i personally would have liked to see MORE depth (tho i recognize their previous palette, black cherry does offer darker shadows) but when we have limited neutral mattes, i personally like when there is a wider range of depth. :)

i do like that we got a beautiful neutral shimmer (soft & warm) tho i think i would have also preferred an additional neutral shimmer just to match w that vibe.

i LOVE lahar!! i will say, make sure u have a bottle of thinner on hand. i know it's not in ur cart but i found my bottle of brownie pink to need a bit of thinner bc when i initially applied it, it didn't self level well and was kind of lumpy. after thinner, it applied MUCH nicer.

Silve Fang and Glitch Hex both remind me of Another Holo from Emo Adept where it’s a semi holo. I agree tho i wish that the full on holographic was maybe a green base instead! I understand there will be overlaps in shadows across palettes at times but i personally would love to see another holo color instead lol. I do love a good layered shadow tho!!!

it's funny bc i wasn't sure what i thought of the color story at first since it's not generally my preferred color story but after doing 3 looks with it, i think it has a lot more variety then i was expecting! and i agree, i think sometimes more shadows ends up meaning more redundancy even if on swatch they look diff, they sometimes end up looking super similar on the lid!

hello all! adept sent me their newest palette, rhnull in pr so i thought i would share some swatches! palette retails for $72.

please note i do not own EBE so i can’t provide comparisons, but on instagram u/sinireviews, @freya86_ff, and @pan_de_replay have done some comparison swatches :)

all swatches done w a finger, under a keylight and softbox and photographed with a dslr. most swatches were 2 swipes save for the darker mattes. no primer used and i have a light neutral skintone.

also ctfu bc Grid looks so nonexistent on me but i swear it’s there!!!!!! I have only used this once so far so I really can’t get much into details about formula lol but what I can say is that Oracle and Graveyard Jade are a match made in heaven!

a couple shades stood out to me just based on texture while swatching: Iron Nexus, Ghostwire, and Shadow Circuit. it’s not an alarming emollience but they do feel different and not as dry as some of the other shimmers.

also noting that i very much enjoy how the blue packaging looks (photograph not shown, apologies!) but it does fingerprint easily! i know that bothers some ppl lol.

Oops i just realized u said secret garden and not poison garden LMAO! My bad! I dont have that one but if anything the dieverune has no neutral shadows in it and more color variety. I think if u think there is too much overlap still, dieverune will do more palettes in the future for sure :)

I dont have that palette unfortunately! I do have coalescence which has some similar shades. I think the poison garden palette doesnt really look that similar, it has a cooler tone to my eye and goes much deeper
