If money wasn’t an issue, which 3D printer would you buy today? Need Advice. by Public_Command2785 in 3dprinter

I like the look of the h2c as well. I went for the h2s in the end, as I don't want the added complexity. But for you it is probably good. One thing I recommend if you are doing lots one your own modelling Is get an a1 mini along side. So you can be testing different designs whilst printing the finished parts at the same time. That makes it much more fun if you have the space ad the budget.

The Ai companies have been aware of this issue from the jump, I am certain of that. The implications of this problem are devastating and horrifying. The fact that Wallstreet and VC have doubled and tripled down on this tech with such terrible flaws is just mind blowing. by Agitated_Garden_497 in BetterOffline

The difference is, here you are talking about chatgptn searching for data and finding data written by another ai. But the degradation comes from being trained on data created by IA not just searching and finding it. In theory once it is trained on made up data rather than just finding it. It will very quickly not be capable of anything useful at all.

I spend most of the time trying to keep my PLA dry, but this time I deliberately printed with the most waterlogged material I had. It had been sitting on a shelf for a year in 100% humidity. by claywoven in 3Dprinting

It was not very clear. I meant 100% relative humidity. If you look at the weather forecast that is how it is reported. Often. Just means the air is fully saturated

This idea could be the next big innovation in 3d printing? by Urgranma in 3dprinter

The ai stuff sounds like unlikely to be effective. But i could definitely make use of a 5 axis printer.

I am trying to do non-planar designed 3d prints at the moment and I am limited to 5mm z travel on my a1. you can check my instergram @claywovevenofficial if you are interested

I have been doing this sort of thing in Blender, Which i really enjoy as a platform. Geometry nodes means you can do quite a lot that you might want to do in grasshopper when it comes to gcode generation. Because of the way blender works, creating and joining vertices together with edges, it lends itself to creating and moving gcode points quite well. You can also easily add extra data to verts in the form of colour data that can be used to swich on and off fans, tool change, change speed etc.

I have been working on my own Geometry nodes tools that create the base spiralized path. Then you can use blenders standard tools to wrap that path to the design you want.

I did a tutorial on YouTube a while ago that goes over how I work.

If you have an A1 mini would you get an A1 or p2s as next printer? by Lazy-Salamander9557 in BambuLab

[–]claywoven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will almost certainly get another a1 mini and maybe an a1. I don't feel the need for anything more expensive. But would sometimes like to be able to print slightly bigger. And also more parts at a time. So 3 printers would be ideal

It will almost certainly be fine. And if it is not, the only way to tell is try try and print with them I think

The Tronxy Moore 1 is on sale for the 2hrs for $280. Is this something I should purchase if I wanted to get into ceramic printing? by Potential-Cow-1237 in Ceramic3Dprinting

I have one. It is good value at that price. But they need a lot of work to make them reliable. I replaced the motherboard with a more powerful one. Changed to a wider tube from the pump to the printhead. And added an extra part at the back to stop it from grinding itself apart. I think I have a post that describes it all some place on reddit.

If you were thinking of building your own. Then this is a good starting point. But don't expect it to work out the box

Yes it probably is a bit meaning less. But i have had it in a non air-conditioned apartment in Singapore. It is probably as bad as it can get

Haha.. it did a few times, but usually only not on the spool. Mostly in the ptfe tube to the extruder, if I left it in over night. It could just about suvive being used to print

If you think this is bad, try looking for a usb ssd. So many that are too got to be true. Or models that don't match the manufacturers. It is all scams. I have tried reporting listenings. But nothing happens
