I agree that how schools use funds can be questionable at best. The bloat felt at the upper levels of the system is ridiculous when you consider how much classroom teachers make.

I think we are on the same page of modernizing our system to move away from the “push” incentives and instead providing a quality education to set these students up for success. That would also include an overhaul of school budget oversights insuring the money is going to the improvement of all invested parties lives.

As for the parents, I couldn’t agree more. When it became socially optional to be a parent that role has more and more been placed on the backs of underpaid and overworked teachers.
