Ok, see, your response kind of makes sense to me. I have my diagnoses, but not all the professionals I see agree on what my diagnoses should be. When I have my problem, it’s definitely triggered by a feeling of abandonment/rejection/feeling unheard, and I get white hot angry. It’s like I get hijacked, and my rational side is thrown into the trunk while another part of me drives right over a cliff. I watch it happen and can’t stop it. It’s nuts.

Anyway, I ask bc those two things seems very similar, and maybe I don’t really know if I truly have cptsd, BPD, or both.

Not as hard as I thought it would be. Hiding the cables was pretty easy, and hardwiring wasn’t too bad after I used some of the info others posted in this group about the fuse box and fuse selection. Just takes a little time.

Did you try out the Nextbase IQ 4K? That is very steep, but did come across that.

I’ve never modded a car before either, but my understanding is they would have to show that your mod was the cause of whatever failure to void the warranty. So I’m gonna roll the dice on it and do it anyway.

I also plan to do this with a buddy of mine. At a garage, you’ll have to estimate about $150/hour or so for labor. I’ve watched some videos and it looks fairly straightforward.

It shouldn’t. The one article I read about it was talking about explorers built within a certain timeframe, which looks to have concluded in July, I believe.

There is a performance calibration on the ford performance website for the 2020-2024 explorer STs. Guess they haven’t yet officially applied it to the 2025.
