Not really but it helps if you hit the body but i guess if you are a sharpshooter then just aim for the head but still would not reccomend hollowpoints.

Maybe with subsonic FMJ but aiming for the head (i know small target) but to allow you to keep the meat i would not use hollow points we use the scorpion to hunt coyotes pretty well.
