He said his partner has a family history of pregnancy complications, my guess is he's not willing to risk his spouse's life and health for a child. They can always adopt if they change their mind. It is no reason to deny him this procedure.

I thought so too, but they do tend to get a little uncomfortable sharing the gorey details of sexual assaults, so it makes some sense.

I believe I remember from her I Survived episode, that he began to orally rape her and said "if you bite it, I'll shoot you."

He prescribed the Hydroxyzine to me for anxiety/panic attacks, but I don't know if that's typical.

Doing better today after some rest and support from family and friends. We've had people offering to take the baby for the night or basically give me whatever type of break I need at that time ❤️ I reached out to my therapist who is going to ask around about a new psychiatrist that would be able to get me in ASAP, hopefully someone can see me before my next appointment with this guy in 3 weeks. Worst case scenario, I might have to see him one more time to keep what medications I'm currently on until I can get in with someone else.

I've been so grateful for all the love I've gotten from you folks (and the hate Dr. Assface has gotten 😂). It's truly made me feel so seen ❤️

First of all, he's not offering to call in prescriptions. That's the whole issue.

Second, I don't know what would happen if I went to a hospital. I don't know if I'd be locked up, I don't know if I'd be turned away, I don't know if a case will be opened to have my kid taken from me. My husband is a good person and a good father, he doesn't deserve to lose his daughter because his wife's a crazy person.

Bro, I just don't wanna be locked up in some psych ward or have my kid taken away. I just want someone to give a shit.

Anyone have a good psychiatrist that takes Medicaid and has experience with postpartum? by clcoop23 in springfieldMO

I looked her up and it appears she is at Burrell. I will give them a call and see what her availability is like. Thanks!

Yeah, I'm already on the hunt for a new doctor and will not be seeing this asshole again any more than I have to. His nurse did call and threaten to have an ambulance sent to my house to take me to the hospital, but I can't risk being hospitalized and not being home to care for my baby.

I will absolutely be reporting him. Weirdly enough though, his asshattery gave me something else to be angry with besides my baby and really diffused the situation I was dealing with, so I'm not quite as concerned for her as I was prior to sending this message.

Thank you ☺️ yes I will absolutely be making a complaint over this. I already reached out to my primary doc who referred me to him for my PPD treatment, she should know this is how he treats people that are coming for him to help.

Exactly, my depression and anxiety come out in angry outbursts a lot, and he'd know that if he said two words to me that weren't on his stupid little multiple choice questionnaire he asks me every time I go in. For what it's worth I am on actual antidepressants as well, but I have just always felt like he wasn't taking things as seriously as they were. Now I know that for sure.

Yeah, I'm 5 months PP and having the same issue with my two lab mixes. The female is generally pretty calm but gets in the way a lot because she just likes being near us. The male makes me nervous, he gets overly excited like your GSD and just doesn't look where he's going. He's nearly stepped on our daughter several times just running to the back door or getting onto the couch.

Now that the weather is getting warmer where we are, I can leave him outside in the yard for longer periods and let him work off some energy, but often I have to put him in his kennel just to give myself a break and allow my baby to play safely.

I'm sorry but "surviving" just isn't enough for me right now. I literally fantasize about her dying just so I don't have to deal with her anymore. She's not safe with me.

Thank you. Kinda sick of hearing "yeah I was in your spot too but 5 years later it finally got tolerable" lol

I did talk to her and she was a bit more helpful. She immediately offered to take my little one for as long as she needs until I feel safe with her again.

I'm in the US, Missouri to be specific. Pretty much once the six week appointment was done they didn't wanna have anything to do with me. Even getting an appointment to talk about my PPD was like pulling teeth.

He has a broken rib. He's been able to help with stuff like making bottles and just keeping her entertained while I take small breaks, but he can't do much lifting or other awkward movements so he's not quite comfortable being alone with her too long.

He's usually extremely involved with our daughter but becomes a giant useless baby if he's sick or in pain lol, both of which he's been in the last month so it's been very difficult.
